Get on board the mythical Train des Pignes from Nice and discover the hinterland between heritage, sports and sensations.
You stay in a real chalet in the heart of Annot and go on an adventure at the crossroads of the Alpes Maritimes and Alpes de Hautes Provence.
Embark on an adventure aboard the Chemins de Fer de Provence’s train des Pignes which links Nice to Digne les Bains and discover the picturesque villages of the hinterland. Once in Annot, settle into your chalet. Then take a canoe trip to discover the beautiful countryside. Dine after your efforts in a village restaurant.
The next morning, strap on your walking shoes and set off on a hike in the famous Annot sandstone. After your picnic at the place called “La table du roi”, put on your harness and take part in an adventure hike through the faults to discover secret places of incredible beauty, sometimes with a surprising view on the valley.
After the effort, comfort with a gourmet dinner in the village of Annot before returning to your accommodation.
The next morning, departure for Entrevaux by train. Lose yourself in the winding streets of the village, witnesses of ancient times. Don’t forget to climb up to the perched Citadel, with uninterrupted views over the village and the valley guaranteed! Enjoy lunch in front of the Pont Levis. Then board the mythical steam train to Puget-Théniers. Finally, return to Nice with the regular line.
